Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC Confirmed, The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is getting a two-part expansion, The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero. Part one will launch this Autumn, with part two following in Winter. The expansion will stick with the theme of past and present, with the first part of the trailer being incredibly reminiscent of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. From the artstyle to the environment, Game Freak seems to have drawn inspiration from Legends: Arceus for the past segments of the Game , with the future giving us something new entirely. Related: This Week In Pokemon: Anime Finale Teased, Pokemon Sleep Wakes Up, And More Part one of the DLC, The Teal Mask, will launch this autumn, although we have no specific date outside this release window. The next part, The Indigo Disk, should be with us shortly after in the winter, so both parts are aiming for a 2023 release. These release dates seem to be pretty ambitious. Unless they're hit with a delay, it means we might have two expansions to get th...

Skyrim Mod Finally Gives The Dragonborn A Voice

The Dragonborn is a warrior of a few words. But when they do talk, you'll find yourself being flung through the air. Aside from the Shouts and a few grunts here and there, we never really get to hear the Dragonborn's voice. Perhaps they're worried that they may accidentally conjure up a Shout mid-conversation and summon a long-dead hero to fight by their side – and that's just rude when there's no Draugr around. However, if you really want your Dragonborn to talk like everyone else, well, there's a mod for that. Called Dragonborn Voice Over, this mod finally lets your Dragonborn clear their throat and have a proper conversation with NPCs. However, it's so much more than that. The mod isn't just a voice-over, but a platform that lets you create a voice pack from almost anyone, using an AI. Elden Ring Fan Draws Favorite Simpsons Scenes Starring Demigods And Tarnished

When you think about it for a second, The Simpsons have a lot in common with Elden Ring. They're both largely about a dysfunctional family that is constantly at each other's throats as the mother figure tries to play peacemaker. And when that mother disappears, they all go at it like rabid Animals . Really, George R. R. Martin probably just watched a bunch of Simpson's episodes when he was writing Elden Ring's lore. So it comes as little surprise to me that when one talented artist decided to remake various scenes from The Simpsons using Elden Ring characters it all worked out pretty well. Related: Elden Ring Player Only Using Spirit Ashes In Pokemon-Style Challenge Run Each episode being referenced is helpfully marked at the bottom of the page, and since most of them are so old, you can usually find examples of them on YouTube if you don't get it. For example, here's the rag on a stick scene for you. It's still funny even 18 years later. ...

Gran Turismo 7 Players Are Getting Spooked By AI's Aggressive Driving Style

When Gran Turismo 7 launched, players and critics were impressed by the visuals, the driving physics, and the handling (especially on the PS5 with the capabilities of the DualSense). But it is with the regular updates that have graced the Game since launch that has arguably made the title come into its own. The recent 1.29 update is one of the biggest yet; adding PS VR2 functionality, a new track, five new cars, and racing against the superhuman AI known as Gran Turismo Sophy. It is this AI that is currently generating some intriguing feedback amongst GT7 players. Sophy was introduced about a year ago and came with some fanfare. A product of Sony's AI division and Polyphony Digital, Sophy has been featured in Science journals such as Nature, and has been shown to be a seriously impressive driver, beating out top Gran Turismo e Sports com Pet itors. And now, for a limited time, GT7 players everywhere can have a go at com Pet ing against the AI, and it's throwing up very...

Pokemon's Ash And Pikachu Flashbacks Have Begun, And Fans Aren't Ready

Pokemon fans outside of Japan haven't been forced to start saying goodbye to Ash and Pikachu yet. However, the OG Pokemon trainer's final run of episodes is already halfway done in Japan, and a montage from the most recent episode showcasing Ash and Pikachu's best moments has really struck a chord. Naturally if you're waiting for the episodes to air in the west to avoid spoilers, you might want to stop reading here. The latest episode to air in Japan focuses on Ash and Pikachu getting separated (thanks, Comicbook), something that has happened pretty often over the years. A Team Rocket explosion takes Pikachu away from his trainer, forcing him to team up with the enemies' Meowth who might well be the Pokemon he has battled most throughout his run. Team Fortress 2 Update Quietly Downsized To Mostly Use Community Content

Last week, Valve announced "a full-on update- sized update", teasing items, maps, taunts, "and who knows what else?" However, it has quietly tweaked this blog post so that the "update- sized update" is now "holiday- sized ", while removing the mention of "who knows what else?" Instead, it lists "Items, maps, taunts, unusual effects, war paints, and other community-contributed fixes", pointing to this actually being a smaller-scale update that's community-oriented, rather than focusing on new and original TF2 content from Valve itself. This is made clear by a part of the post that has not changed, "We need Steam Workshop content! YOUR Steam Workshop content!" RELATED: My Favourite Moment: Half-Life 2's Don't Step On The Sand Between the call for community creations and the subtle change to the wording, hopes for a proper TF2 update have been dashed, leaving fans bitter and disapp...

Valentine's Day (February 14th)

Image
Quick facts When is it? Every February 14th Tagged as Attitudes & Emotions Love Men People & Relationships Women What's the hashtag? #ValentinesDay Have we missed something? Love and romance. Candy and flowers. Cards and gifts. Dinner and dancing. Valentine’s Day comes along with a whole host of plans and accoutrements that are meant to all boil down to one thing: Love. And it all comes in the name of one man, St. Valentine, who was an interesting (and perhaps slightly misunderstood) character in History . It’s time to learn about and celebrate Valentine’s Day! History of Valentine’s Day While some people believe that the History of this day is pretty clear, the reality is that the story behind St. Valentine’s Day is covered in a great deal of mystery. Tradition hails February 14 (and perhaps even the whole month of February!) as a time for love and romance, with both ancient Roman and Christian backgrounds. But when the life of St. Valentine...
